From what order value is shipping free?
Shipping is free in Austria and Germany for orders over €50. For orders below this value, shipping costs are €4.90 for both countries.
How long does delivery take?
In Austria and Germany, delivery time is 1-4 working days after receipt of payment.
International deliveries take 2-5 business days depending on the destination country.
Which countries does entoVITAL deliver to?
We deliver to 18 European countries: Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, Slovakia, France, Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Luxembourg, Poland, Romania, Sweden, Czech Republic and Hungary.
What are the shipping costs for other countries?
For all other European countries, shipping costs are 15€, free for orders over 100€ (except Switzerland).

Which shipping partner is used?
In Austria, shipping is handled by Österreichische Post AG. For Germany and other international deliveries, DHL handles delivery.
Can I track my order?
Yes, after shipping you will receive an email with a tracking number.
Austrian shipments are tracked via Austrian Post, international shipments via DHL.
Which payment methods are accepted?
You can pay by credit card (Visa, Mastercard with 3D Secure), prepayment/bank transfer, Klarna or Sofortüberweisung.
Can I also order by phone?
Yes, you can order directly through the online shop, by email, or by phone. Our team will be happy to take your order.
If you order by phone or email, you will be charged in advance.

What is entoVITAL and why insect food?
entoVITAL is a hypoallergenic pet food for dogs and cats based on insects. The insect protein from the Hermetia illucens (soldier fly) offers a sustainable, antibiotic-free alternative to conventional meat and its slaughterhouse waste. Since dogs and cats don't normally eat insects, the potential for allergy is virtually nonexistent.

Why is insect protein more sustainable?
Insect farming requires significantly fewer resources than conventional livestock farming and does not require antibiotics. It's an environmentally friendly alternative that offers the same or even better nutritional quality as traditional protein sources.

Which entoVITAL products are available?
The range includes complete, wholesome foods for different life stages ( Puppy , Adult , Senior ), as well as supplementary foods such as snacks and functional pastes tailored to specific needs. All products are based on the same hypoallergenic insect protein.
What is the difference between complete food and supplementary food?
Complete feeds cover all nutritional needs and can also be fed as the sole source of nutrition. Supplementary feeds are functional additions to the regular diet. You can find the exact labeling on each product page.
How much entoVITAL should I give my pet?
The recommended daily ration can be found on the respective product packaging and side. This depends on your pet's body weight, activity level, and life stage. These figures are guidelines only. Observe your pet and adjust the amount as needed.
How do I switch to entoVITAL?
For a gentle food change, we recommend a gradual change over 7 to 10 days: Start with 25% entoVITAL mixed with 75% of the previous food and increase the entoVITAL portion by 25% every 2-3 days until you reach 100%.

Can I mix entoVITAL with other food?
For animals with food allergies, we recommend using snacks with the same protein source (insect protein) to avoid cross-reactions. For consistency and best results, you should switch completely to entoVITAL.
How do I know if my pet tolerates the food well?
Positive signs are:
Normal stool consistency, good food acceptance, no digestive problems, healthy coat and general vitality.
If problems persist, contact your veterinarian or our product advice team.
What nutrients does insect protein provide?
Insects provide the same nutrients as conventional meat. They serve as a source of protein and fat of at least the same or better quality. Insect protein is particularly digestible without sacrificing important nutrients.
What ingredients are contained in entoVITAL?
entoVITAL relies on natural ingredients. By reducing the ingredients to the essentials, the potential for allergies is drastically reduced.

Where is entoVITAL manufactured?
entoVITAL is 100% manufactured in Germany and Austria and meets the highest European quality standards.
How long does entoVITAL last?
For unopened packages, shelf life can be guaranteed until the best-before date. However, the best-before date (BBD) does not mean that a product is inedible after its expiration. We are committed to valuing raw materials and are deliberately reducing the use of BBD products to prevent raw material waste. You can find out more here .
Once opened, dry food should be consumed within 6-8 weeks. Please observe the storage instructions!
